As the author of Career Boot Camp, a self-contained full career transition program, and co-author of E-Cruiting, Sharon also draws on her experiences as a career coach, outplacement and transition specialist, hiring manager and human resource professional to bring transparency and practicality to the following:

Sharon holds an MBA and undergraduate degrees in HR, Education, and Communication. She earned her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) designation from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and her Certified Professional Résumé Writer and Certified Professional Career Coach certifications from nationally-recognized Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches. She honed her professional career in the direct sales, education and communication industries.
She lives in Columbus, OH with her husband Kevin, who handles all marketing and web design for the business, and their 4 dogs. In their spare time, they plan their heritage highway retirement vacations where they fully intend to live the “Winnebago warrior” life.
